A chandelier in a staircase works like a stunning piece of jewelry on an outfit, it completes the overall appearance making it elegant and refined. However, as with jewelry, getting the size right can be a bit tricky.
The clearance between the floor and the bottom of the chandelier should be at least 2.1 meters.
The width of the chandelier will depend on the width of the hallway or a stairwell. A rule of 1/3 of the width is a useful indication.
The height will depend on the design and should be in proportion to the rest of the fixture.
That might sound a bit complicated, but we are always happy to give you advice and organise a site visit so that you have complete peace of mind regarding your purchase.
