The Cotswold Club Equestrian
Imagine a five-star-stables with exceptionally beautiful equestrian facilities for the riders. That’s The Cotswolds Club Equestrian! We were so excited when our longstanding client Charlotte Dunkerton told us about her plans to create a luxury equestrian facility in the Cotswolds and that she wanted us to participate in it.
The Cotswold Club Equestrian boasts incredible facilities such as a gentlemen’s club-like jockey room at the heart of the stables. It is an ultra-stylish place, which was an idea that Charlotte herself was keen to make a reality. Pieces of antique furniture such as a quirky apothecary chest of drawers, luxury vintage Louis Vuitton trunks, early 21th century armchairs in dark distressed brown leather sit effortlessly side by side modern furniture and lighting. Sofa Brian, which you can find on our website, in sumptuous emerald green upholstery compliments the look of the room perfectly by beautiful adding a splash of colour and creating a focal point
Talking about colour, we must mention a couple of tulip shape armchairs with gold plated legs and finished in burnt orange velvet that we added to the room. They look spectacular against the pale green walls and Crittall windows. Well-thought-out lighting played a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Alluring Darcy Wall Lights, which are composed of bevelled glass, sit elegantly between the space’s large windows. There are also romantic table lamps dotted around the room in distressed bronze with cut-glass pendants from our collection.
We also provided stunning, hand-made outdoor Battledown Lanterns in polished brass finish. They are replicas of old Victorian street lamps and suit both period and modern properties beautifully. In the passageway and bathrooms, you will find our favourite Gascoigne Wall Lamps in vintage brass, which look like they were just made for the space.
The classic, luxurious style of the room with contemporary finishing touches will never go out of fashion and we can’t wait to spend time in such a beautifully finished space. We know we’re not the only ones desperate to enjoy the elegantly decorated The Cotswolds Club Equestrian.
