The outdoor and indoor lanterns are available in Antique Brass, Old Antique Finish, Polished Brass Lacquered, Unlacquered Polished Brass and selected lights in Nickel.
Antique Brass
Antique Brass a distressed finish especially recommended for period properties. A lighting fixture in this finish will look like it has always been a part of the house. This finish will mellow with age, only partial cleaning is required to keep its appearance.
Please note: The item will arrive with a shiny finish as it has been newly polished back, the product will mellow in short period.
Recommended for interior and exterior use.
Distressed Dark Antique Brass
Distressed dark antique brass this distressed finish could also be called a gunmetal as it has black and dark grey tones. Very popular for both period and modern properties. The finish is a greyish bronze and requires no cleaning or maintenance to keep its appearance. The fitting will look as if it has tarnished for years.

Polished Lacquered Brass
Polished Lacquered Brass- the item is polished and lacquered to retain the bright and glossy appearance. Requires the occasional clean with a damp cloth. Recommended for internal and External use. Not recommended for external use in Coastal Areas due to salt degradation of lacquer.
Polished Un-lacquered Brass
Polished Un-lacquered Brass The item is polished only and will gradually tarnish and mellow in colour. Requires cleaning with brass polish to retain a bright finish. Please note: The item will arrive with a shiny finish as it has been newly polished back, the product will mellow in short period. Recommended for interior and exterior use.
Nickel Plated
Nickel Plated- also called silver. The item is de-greased and soak cleaned, followed by an electric clean bath to remove any further impurities that may cause de-lamination. The metal is then dipped whilst electrically charged in a tank containing Nickel Sulphate. Nickel Chloride and Sulphuric Acid. The items will be plated with a minimum of 10 microns of Nickel (more than twice the minimum requirement for BSEN-12540). The item is then polished ready for use.
Note: Nickel items are supplied un-lacquered which will dull over time. The items can be easily re-polished to an original state using metal polish. However if you require fittings lacquered (only recommended for interior use). Please specify lacquered finish when ordering.
